Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared efficiently and that dishes and kitchen areas are kept clean and sanitized. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist with food presentation and portioning to ensure quality and consistency
  • Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, including countertops, sinks, and storage areas
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
  • Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, peeling, or assembling ingredients as needed
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods by helping with various tasks to ensure timely service
  • Adhere to all safety protocols related to food handling, cleaning, and equipment use

Skills

  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments preferred, especially in food preparation or dishwashing roles
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining sanitation standards in a kitchen setting
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food handling safety practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • Previous hotel or food service experience is a plus but not required
  • A positive attitude towards hospitality service and customer satisfaction
