Responsibilities
  • Moving and sorting of incoming appliances/electronics/furniture units for repair
  • Organize and maintain the incoming area of furniture shop
  • Organize and maintain the outgoing area of the A&E shop
  • Wrapping/packaging and put away of repaired product
  • Complete minor touch-ups on furniture
  • Build ready to assemble products
  • Coordinate recycling of appliances and electronics
  • Perform cycle counts in A&E and furniture shop
  • General cleanup, sweeping of floors and garbage removal as required
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety, Material Handling, and equipment policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned periodically
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with experience working with small hand/power tools required
  • Previous working experience in a warehouse
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office applications and computerized warehouse management systems preferred
  • Previous experience with Brick Retail, TGS and Western Catalyst (WMS) systems an asset
  • Experience using RF guns an asset
  • Experience using a motorized pallet jacks an asset
