EcoPilot Canada | USA is growing, and we're looking for keenness to add to our technician team.

EcoPilot uses Artificial Intelligence to deliver real-time HVAC energy savings. Our solution integrates with existing Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS) to reduce energy consumption. It's awesome, our clients are awesome, and we're looking for awesomeness.

You do not need a deep BMS/HVAC background to apply. If you're the kind of person who can troubleshoot, learn fast, and enjoy technical problem-solving, we can teach you the building controls side. We're open to a broad range of experience levels—if you've got the right mindset, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Analyze building data for completeness and accuracy
  • Support on-site building assessments and identify potential installation considerations
  • Communicate with building staff and contractors to meet project requirements
  • Support hardware/software installation
  • Support testing and commissioning of EcoPilot products
  • Contribute to and maintain installation documentation
  • Provide remote and occasional on-site technical support

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma/degree in a technical field or demonstrated comparable hands-on experience (automation, electrical, mechanical, IT/tech, instrumentation, etc.)
  • Comfortable learning new software/tools and working with data
  • Competency with Microsoft Office
  • IP networking knowledge (or strong interest in learning) is an asset
  • Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, LonMark, or JSON is an asset (not required)
  • Project coordination experience is an asset (not required)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally
  • Genuine interest in building performance, energy efficiency, and tech that makes things smarter

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.57-$49.56 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
