Job Summary

The
Java Developer
will support major initiatives within the
digital shopping and buying
domain, contributing to the development and enhancement of enterprise-scale
digital sales applications
. This role requires strong backend expertise with
Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka
, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    backend services
    using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Contribute to large-scale
    digital sales application initiatives
    .
  • Build and support
    event-driven architectures
    leveraging Kafka.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Support continuous improvement of development practices and system reliability.

Required Skills (Must-Have)

  • 7+ years
    of experience with
    Java and Spring Boot
    (backend development).
  • 3+ years
    of current or recent experience with
    Kafka
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    enterprise application development
    .

Soft Skills

  • Strong
    verbal and written communication
    skills.
  • Team lead or mentorship experience is considered an
    asset
    .
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience developing applications on
    Azure public cloud
    .
  • Angular
    front-end development experience.
