Overview

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Boutique Perfumery Associate to join our luxury retail team in Niagara on The Lake at ORRIS LABS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with high-end fragrance products, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a memorable shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for merchandising, and the ability to connect with diverse clientele. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a tourist heavy environment and enjoy sharing their knowledge of fragrances with customers.

*Must be able to work weekends (Full Time Staff)*

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting fragrances that suit their preferences and needs
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on fragrance notes, application techniques, and product features
• Manage merchandising displays to ensure an attractive and organized store environment
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
• Provide excellent customer service through attentive communication, phone etiquette, and personalized recommendations
• Maintain inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with stock organization
• Assist in organizing promotional events or product demos to attract new customers
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within luxury or cosmetic retail environments. (A plus but not required)
• Knowledge of fragrances, skincare, or beauty products is a plus but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Demonstrated organizational skills and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, basic math, and cash handling procedures
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to store needs

Pay: $20.00-$28.59 per hour
