The Role

The Critical Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the reliability and operational integrity of critical infrastructure systems. This role includes performing scheduled non-intrusive maintenance tasks on critical assets and managing vendor access to ensure compliance with site protocols and safety standards. 

Main responsibilities

Perform scheduled non-intrusive maintenance activities on critical assets, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks. Document all maintenance activities accurately in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary escort for all third-party vendors performing work within critical environments. Ensure vendors adhere to site security, compliance, and safety protocols at all times. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment issues to maintain uptime. Monitor critical systems and escalate anomalies promptly to senior technical staff. Follow all safety, environmental, and operational guidelines. Support audits and inspections by maintaining accurate records and ensuring readiness. Work closely with facility management, engineering teams, and external partners to ensure seamless operations. Provide timely updates on maintenance activities and vendor engagements. Complete all required training

Qualifications and experience

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in facility maintenance or critical environment operations. Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Ability to work in high-security and high-reliability environments. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
