Quantifi Lending Inc.
is a full-spectrum non-prime automotive lender that's redefining how Canadians access vehicle financing. We're a technology-driven, human-centred company that looks beyond credit scores to offer tailored lending solutions built around real people and real circumstances.
We're growing quickly and are looking for bold, solutions-focused people who want to make an impact.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a Collections Manager to take ownership of our most complex and high-risk auto loan accounts.
But let's be clear – this isn't your typical "collections" role. You won't just be following procedures; you'll be using your judgment, creativity, and professional acumen to solve tough problems, make critical decisions, and deliver outcomes that work for both the client and the business.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Thrives on challenge and accountability
- Excels in negotiation and client communication
- Has natural business instincts and thick skin
- Enjoys autonomy, learns fast and doesn't need to be told what to do
- Brings creativity, empathy, and grit to every situation
You will handle the most important relationships in our portfolio, from pre to post repossession, often stepping in where others couldn't find a solution.
What You'll Do
- Take full ownership of our highest-risk accounts (90+ days past due) and personally engage with clients to find successful resolutions.
- Lead high-level negotiations and recovery strategies that balance client situations with business objectives.
- Manage escalations and complex client interactions with professionalism and confidence.
- Collaborate across teams to identify trends, share insights, and strengthen our collections
strategy.
- Work directly with external vendors when necessary to resolve challenging accounts.
- Make tough calls with sound judgement – always in alignment with our client-centric philosophy.
- Maintain detailed records of communications and actions with accuracy and accountability.
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a client-facing, business, or operational role (e.g., sales, finance, account management, or customer success).
- A post-secondary degree in business, finance, or a related field is an asset – but strong business judgement and performance track record matter most.
- Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Poise under pressure; confident, decisive, and emotionally intelligent.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results independently.
- Relentless work ethic, resilience, and accountability.
- Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in standard business tools (MS Office Suite, CRM systems, etc.).
Why Join Quantifi?
- Impact:
You'll be at the center of our most critical client situations – the person everyone counts on to turn things around.
- Autonomy:
Be trusted to make decisions that matter, with the backing of leadership.
- Growth:
Build deep, transferable skills in negotiation, decision-making, and leadership.
- Culture:
Join a sharp, supportive, and entrepreneurial team that values creativity and ownership.
- Competitive compensation and benefits.
