Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medication management in community pharmacy setting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care through precise medication dispensing, counseling, and collaboration with healthcare professionals. The Pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and compliance with medical regulations.

Duties

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with physicians' orders and hospital protocols
  • Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding medication selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects
  • Educate patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and safety precautions
  • Ensure all medication records are maintained accurately and securely in compliance with legal standards
  • Collaborate with medical staff to develop and review treatment plans involving pharmacological therapies
  • Maintain inventory levels of pharmaceuticals, ensuring proper storage and handling of medications

  • Experience
  • Proven expertise in patient care related to medication management and administration
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
  • Experience with medication administration protocols and safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical teams and patient education
  • Certification as a licensed Pharmacist is required, along with current licensure in the relevant state or region

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
