P.A.M.Maintenance Technician

P.A.M Gardens Non-Profit Inc. is a leading housing provider offering geared to income and market rental units to 342 households in 7 locations throughout London, Ontario.

Note: This is a union job union benefits are included.

Responsibilities:

· Daily site inspections.

· Perform work or repairs to units based on work orders generated by the Maintenance Coordinator.

· Completing tenants' work orders and submitting the completed paperwork to the office.

· Responsible for working in a timely manner as required by the employer and use the prescribed safety equipment.

· Participate in the unit/smoke detector inspections.

· Execute move in/move-out inspections.

· Complete the unit turnover between tenants.

· Prep unit for P.A.M. Gardens subcontractors to assist in the timely turning of each unit.

· Report damage in the units.

· Support and always maintain client confidentiality.

· Complete special projects and any other duties as requested from time to time.

· Access to a reliable vehicle/transportation

· Regular garbage clean up all complexes and after garbage days.

· Occasional emergency calls

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

· A general knowledge and experience with plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc.

· Willingness to learn and take direction well.

· Good driving record.

· Strong customer service skills.

· Ability to multitask.

· Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

· Venerable police check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.66 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
