Mechanical Engineering Manager

location for their facility.

Responsibilities:

  • As a key leader in the engineering department, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and processes critical to our manufacturing operations.
  • Lead a team of mechanical engineers and technicians in designing, testing, and optimizing mechanical systems, including roll forming equipment and related machinery.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering designs meet manufacturing requirements, quality standards, and production deadlines.
  • Manage projects from concept through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in roll forming technology to recommend innovative solutions and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in mechanical engineering within the roll forming industry or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
