Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing, and related tasks, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results on various projects. This role involves working on commercial and residential sites, ensuring concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and meet project specifications. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of construction processes and safety protocols to contribute effectively to our team's success.

Duties

  • Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth, level finishes
  • Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed for mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete
  • Perform masonry work, including caulking, restoration, and renovation tasks as required
  • Assist with concrete forming, reinforcement installation, and other related construction activities
  • Use carpentry skills for framing and creating forms for concrete placement
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure finished surfaces meet industry standards and client expectations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and proper handling of tools

Skills

  • Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction equipment operation
  • Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry techniques
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
  • Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques including smoothing, troweling, and texturing
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling
  • Good understanding of construction safety protocols and ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of concrete finishing projects

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
