Position Overview

We are seeking a Garden Lead to oversee day-to-day garden maintenance operations across our residential and commercial clientele. This role involves managing a team of horticulturists and garden staff, ensuring that all garden spaces are maintained to the highest standard.

As Garden Lead, you'll be the bridge between our field teams and our valued clients—coordinating schedules, maintaining quality control, and ensuring that every garden we manage continues to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and lead garden crews and horticulturists
  • Oversee maintenance schedules for client gardens, ensuring timely and high-quality service
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding garden care and seasonal needs
  • Ensure proper plant care, weeding, pruning, pest control, soil health, and seasonal planting
  • Monitor inventory and request materials or equipment as needed
  • Support a safe, productive, and respectful work environment for the team

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in garden or landscape maintenance
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong knowledge of plant care, pruning techniques, soil science, and pest/disease management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license (required)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
