AOMA is seeking an Advanced English Writing Instructor.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

· Experienced in guiding students in college application essay writing, as well as developing strong academic writing and reading analysis skills

· Familiar with the BC provincial (public and private school) English curriculum, and capable of helping students effectively improve their school English performance

· Demonstrates a solid understanding of English writing structures, critical thinking, and literary analysis

· Passionate about teaching, patient, and responsible in supporting students' academic growth

· Willing to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive, professional teaching environment

We are looking for a teacher who inspires students to express their ideas with clarity, confidence, and creativity while achieving tangible academic progress.

AOMA is seeking an SAT English Instructor to join our teaching team.

Requirements:

· Exceptional English proficiency, both written and spoken

· At least three years of experience teaching SAT English (Reading and Writing)

· Has personally taken the SAT with a score of 760 or above in the English section

· Passionate about education and dedicated to student success

· Patient, responsible, and committed to continuously improving teaching methods to achieve the best learning outcomes

We are looking for an educator who not only understands the SAT, but also inspires students to reach their full potential.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
