Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing insights and recommendations that drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions.
  • Utilize advanced tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel for data visualization and reporting.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather data from ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite.
  • Perform audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the development of financial models to analyze trends and project future performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Maintain databases and utilize SQL for data management and analysis.
  • Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, ensuring they understand the implications of financial data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on research and investment analysis.
  • Familiarity with Hyperion for budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; bilingual candidates (especially French) are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of auditing principles and practices is beneficial.
