Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located at the Base for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice. The apprentice will assist senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in performing inspections, repairs, modifications, and scheduled maintenance on a variety of aircraft in accordance with regulatory and company standards. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting mechanical issues, maintaining detailed records of work performed, and adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Basic mechanical skills with the ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance procedures
  • Effective communication and collaboration capabilities as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety
  • Completion or enrollment in an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program (mandatory)
  • Ability to work on-site and willingness to adapt to various schedules, including weekends and shifts
  • Familiarity with aviation regulations and standards (e.g., Transport Canada) is an asset
  • Previous exposure to the aviation industry or technical work experience is a plus
