Crowsnest Consolidated High School requires a Full Time Temporary Educational Assistant (35 hours per week). This position will begin on December 16, 2025.

Under the direction of the Learning Support Teacher, the successful candidate will provide one-on-one and small group assistance for students to help meet the goals identified in the student's learning plan as well as in-class supports for students with Individual Student Plans (ISPs).

Desired Qualifications Include The Following

  • Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group and inclusive classroom settings
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students who require patience and flexibility
  • Experience and training in working with students with different diagnoses from Autism to complex needs
  • Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team
  • Physically fit and able to keep up with the demands of working with a student with complex needs
  • Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent would be an asset
  • NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset.
  • Ability to support student requiring toileting and personal care
