Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety. The Kitchen Team Member will be responsible for supporting meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking to ensure timely service
- Handle food with care, following proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Support food presentation and plating to meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously when required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to support daily operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling best practices
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
