Role Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UiPath Production Support Engineer to join our technology team within the
- banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- RPA processes in a high-stakes production environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability,
- and performance of our automated banking processes, using advanced monitoring and log analysis tools.
Required Skill Sets:
- Provide Level 1/Level 2 production support for all deployed UiPath robots and processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Proactively monitor and manage the health of RPA bots and the UiPath Orchestrator using tools like Dynatrace, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and other log analysis techniques.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues and bot failures in a timely manner, performing root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring problems.
- Analyze logs and metrics to identify trends, performance bottlenecks, and potential issues before they impact the business.
- Work closely with RPA developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment and operational stability of automations.
- Manage and track incidents, service requests, and change requests related to RPA processes, using ITSM tools like Jira or ServiceNow.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical banking automations, as required.
- Contribute to maintaining and creating detailed documentation of production incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Apply minor bug fixes and enhancements to existing bots to improve stability and efficiency.
- Ensure that all production support activities and automations comply with banking industry regulations and security best practices.
Desired Skill Sets:
- A minimum good years of experience in a production support or similar technical support role, with a focus on UiPath RPA.
- Strong hands-on experience with the UiPath platform, including Studio, Orchestrator, and Robots.
- Proficiency in using monitoring and logging tools such as:
- Dynatrace: For monitoring application and infrastructure performance.
- ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana): For advanced log analysis and building custom dashboards.
- Demonstrable experience working within the banking or financial services domain is required.
- Strong understanding of the RPA development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices, especially concerning exception handling and environment management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Solid understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and experience with ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and scripting for support and troubleshooting tasks is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
