We are seeking friendly, professional, and observant Campus Security Guards to help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. Campus Security Guards play a key role in supporting students, staff, and visitors while promoting safety, prevention, and positive engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol campus buildings, residences, and outdoor areasProvide visible security presence and customer serviceMonitor access points, alarms, and CCTV systemsRespond to incidents, emergencies, and service callsEnforce campus policies and safety proceduresAssist students, staff, and visitors with directions and supportComplete accurate incident and activity reportsLiaise with campus authorities and emergency services as required

Qualifications

Valid BC Security Worker Licence Valid First Aid / CPR (Level 1 minimum)Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in sensitive situationsBasic computer skills for reporting and access systemsAbility to work shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends)

High School Diploma/GED
