Position: Server/Bartender

Salary Range: Seasonal Role May – September

Position Summary: As a Server at Port Carling Golf Club, you will provide exceptional dining service to our members and their guests in both our restaurant and during special events. You will ensure a memorable dining experience through attentive, courteous service and a thorough knowledge of our menu offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining atmosphere.

· Maintain an in-depth understanding of menu items, including daily specials.

· Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar, ensuring timely delivery.

· Support the setup, service, and breakdown of Club events, including banquets and private parties.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the dining area is presentable at all times.

· Restocking of various items as needed prior to, throughout and following scheduled shift.

· Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and Clubhouse Management to ensure seamless service during both regular dining hours and special events.

· Adhere to club policies and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or event setting an asset.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing top-notch service.

  • Self motivated, organized, conscientious, detail oriented.
  • Ability to take direction.
  • Ability to remain composed and professional under stressful situations.
  • Positive work ethic.
  • Smartserve Certified
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to excel in a team environment.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
