Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and other AI tools to solve real-world problems.
  • Conduct advanced data mining and exploratory data analysis on large-scale datasets utilizing Hadoop, Spark, and SQL to identify patterns and trends.
  • Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes with tools like Talend and Bash scripts to prepare data for analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions involving natural language processing (NLP), unsupervised learning, and other AI techniques.
  • Develop scalable database schemas and design efficient database systems for storing and retrieving complex linked data.
  • Deploy machine learning models into production environments ensuring seamless integration with existing systems through model training, testing, and deployment pipelines.
  • Utilize analytics platforms such as Looker to create interactive dashboards that communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, Java, C, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
  • Extensive experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and SQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, SAS, and other AI tools.
  • Expertise in natural language processing (NLP), data mining techniques, and unsupervised learning algorithms.
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS for scalable model deployment and data storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with database design principles for structured and linked data architectures.
  • Ability to perform complex analytics using statistical software like SAS or R to derive actionable insights from diverse datasets.
  • Experience with model training workflows, including feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and validation processes.
