Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team for weekend position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting containers or trailers and over short or long distances while operating a commercial motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a truck to transport containers or trailers to various locations

-Secure containers onto the truck using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution.

- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance

- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

- Maintain accurate driving logs

- Communicate with dispatch as needed

Skills

- Commercial class 1 driving experience of 2 years or more is required

  • Clean driver's record

-Good communication skills

Hourly wages.

Day/Night shifts

Qualifications

  • Air Brake Endorsement
  • WHMIS Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.50 per hour
