We are hiring for a Part-Time Meat Wrapper position with a wage range of $ $18.00 at our location in Fairview, AB.
 
Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

Work alongside the Butcher Shop Team to complete prep work in the Meat Department

Assist with grinding, weighing, pricing, wrapping, and packaging meat products for purchase

Stock and rotate display products by adhering to FIFO, cleanliness, and merchandising

Maintain a clean and sanitized work area

Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures

Package and display smoked products for purchase

Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience

What you Bring: 

Positive, can-do personality

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs

Experience in a meat department or butchery setting is an asset

Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
