Job Overview

McPhillips Toyota is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Vehicle Lot & Inventory Coordinator to support our sales and service operations. This role is responsible for managing used vehicle damage and claims, maintaining lot organization, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, and assisting with trade-ins and new vehicles. The ideal candidate takes pride in presentation, communicates effectively, and works well in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

Used Vehicle Damage & Claims

  • Review the Used Vehicle Damage & Claims book daily and communicate vehicle
  • Inspect returned vehicles to ensure all repairs are completed to standard
  • organize vehicle repair pickups

Parking Lot & Vehicle Management

  • Ensure all vehicles are parked neatly and spaced for customer access
  • Maintain vehicle displays
  • Keep the lot clean
  • Report vehicle issues (boosts, flat tires, maintenance concerns).
  • Fuel vehicles as needed

Vehicle Cleanliness Standards

Exterior

  • Ensure all vehicles are washed and cleaned daily
  • Report dents, chips, or damage on new or used vehicles via group chat.
  • all vehicles have Toyota decals and front/rear plate frames.

Interior

  • Clean and vacuum carpets, upholstery, and replace floor mats as required.
  • Inspect for dashboard warning lights and report any issues .
  • Ensure all vehicles have at least ¼ tank of fuel.
  • Clean cup holders, interior trim, and areas between seats.
  • Identify and report any odors; take steps to resolve when possible.

New Trade-Ins & PDI Vehicles

  • Ensure trade-ins and new vehicles are detailed and lot-ready as quickly as possible.

Additional Duties

  • Complete any additional tasks assigned by Sales Managers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills (verbal and text-based)
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
