About this role
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our Warehouse in Kelowna, BC. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.
Your responsibilities
- Shipping/receiving, entering data, filing and tracking waybills and packing slips
- Record keeping, and labelling products to ensure organization of materials for projects
- Data entry, tracking and file management
- Oversee insurance, maintenance and security of fuel cards and company fleet
- Assist with fleet management and maintenance
- Coordinate delivery requests and resolve inquiries and concerns related to orders, deliveries, fleet inquiries and inventory availability
- Drive forklift to stack/store material to avoid damage and deterioration
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization of warehouse; general yard upkeep
Your experience and skills
- 2+ years of previous warehouse and material handling experience
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with ability to drive a cube truck
- Experience managing administrative tasks in a warehouse setting, inventory control or fleet coordination
- Proficient with basic computer software applications - experience using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook; experience using JD Edwards or other ERP systems an asset
- Current forklift certification an asset, or willingness to be trained
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organized
- Strong customer service focus, with good interpersonal skills
- Able to manage multiple, competing and changing priorities
- Knowledge of the electrical industry an asset
