Duties

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Develop, customize, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and RESTful APIs to meet diverse business needs.
• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems utilizing ETL tools, Web services, and APIs to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Optimize system performance through effective load balancing, system hardening, and system design best practices while maintaining high availability.
• Manage system configurations, workflows, validation rules, and automation processes to streamline operations and improve user experience.
• Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards.
• Implement security measures including cloud security protocols, firewall configurations, VPNs, and user access controls in compliance with information security policies.
• Participate in Agile development cycles using DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools for continuous integration and deployment.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, technical specifications, and change management records for audit purposes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies like Kubernetes, microservices architecture, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), and threat intelligence to recommend innovative enhancements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Service-oriented architecture (SOA) and solution architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Apex programming language along with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular for Lightning Web Components development.
• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, or ETL tools.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and system administration tasks.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Strong understanding of network protocols including DNS, DHCP, VPNs; experience configuring firewalls for secure data exchange is desirable.
• Experience working within Agile environments utilizing DevOps tools like Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with Git version control is essential.
• Ability to design scalable system architectures employing microservices patterns and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including vulnerability assessment, threat intelligence analysis, system hardening techniques, and compliance standards.
• Excellent debugging skills along with proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell Scripting or Bash for automation tasks.
• Educational background in Computer Science or related fields; certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer or Solution Architect are advantageous.
