What you will do

• Patrol designed areas to ensure post orders in a marked vehicle.
• Quickly respond to security violations, property damage, alarms and trespassers on client premises.
• Establish a strong security presence to deter crime and theft.
• Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
• Complete incident reports for security purposes.
• Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required.
• Establish a strong security presence to maintain site safety and access control.
• Provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Perform safety checks, scanning tokens and data entry for vehicles at check in and check out points in a timely manner.
• Log all arrivals and departures, and other data, promptly and correctly.
• Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
• Liaise with site staff to ensure all vehicle traffic is accounted for on and around the site.
• Identify potential security risks and hazards and respond accordingly.
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients, customers and patrons.

The Ideal Candidate

• A Valid Security License is required
• A Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required
• A Clean Driving abstract is required
• Previous mobile security experience is required
• Must have good driving record and 3 years of driving experience within Canada
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong skills in computer and software use for data entry
• Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Must be willing and comfortable to stop security violations
• Strong sense of reliability and responsibility
