Our Challenge
Our client is seeking a Senior Digital Architect to provide strategic leadership and technical expertise in designing, implementing, and guiding the development of modern, citizen-centered digital services. This role plays a vital part in shaping the organization's platform to foster innovation, agility, and seamless service delivery across multiple programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of overall solution architecture for digital services, ensuring alignment with citizen needs and agile methodologies.
- Analyze existing system contexts and provide technical discovery, feasibility studies, and prototypes.
- Ensure iterative implementation of solution designs, managing impacts, risks, and system exposure.
- Guide the team in deploying and integrating systems, promoting reuse of components and capabilities across services.
- Review code, contribute to technical implementation, and mentor product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop detailed design documentation, diagrams, and presentations tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Define and uphold architectural principles, standards, and metrics for service quality.
- Participate in the ongoing development and enhancement of the architecture practice, incorporating feedback and best practices.
Work Experience:
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional agile teams, providing architecture direction, and mentoring developers (minimum 5 years).
- Proven background as a software architect delivering enterprise solutions in complex organizational environments (minimum 5 years).
- Experience working with user-centered design, service design, or human-centered methodologies (minimum 2 years).
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making (minimum 5 years).
- Additional desirable experience includes implementing secure development practices, API management, cloud-native design, legacy modernizations, and infrastructure-as-code practices (2-5 years each).
- Experience working in or with the public sector or enterprise architecture frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies and standards (minimum 2 years).
