We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Body Shop Estimator.

In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters, accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing comprehensive repair estimates. Your expertise will help streamline the repair process, ensure customer satisfaction, and maximize shop efficiency. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to evaluate the extent of repairs needed, including auto body repair, mechanical issues, transmissions, suspension, and more.
• Prepare detailed and accurate auto estimating reports using industry-standard software.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair estimates, answer questions, and provide guidance on vehicle maintenance and repair options.
• Collaborate with technicians and mechanics to verify repair procedures and ensure estimates reflect actual work required.
• Manage insurance claims processes by providing detailed documentation and facilitating smooth communication between customers and insurance companies.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of automotive industry and estimating procedures.
• Experience with auto estimating software and service writing practices is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical repairs to clients.
• Familiarity with mechanic experience or automotive diagnostics enhances your ability to assess vehicle damage comprehensively.
