Western Archrib is currently looking to fill the position of Material Handler at our Sturgeon County facility.

This position will report directly to the Production and Team Manager. The successful candidate for this full-time position will have a high standard of work ethic, attention to detail, motivated to work at a high level of quality, and ability to work well within a team environment.

Duties: will include but not limited to:

· Clean and maintain equipment

· Maintain safety standards and safe work practices

· Moving product from the finishing production line to appropriate area in plant

· Collaborating daily with the finishing and K2 area leads/Supervisors

Requirements:

· Candidates must be physically fit and able to lift to a maximum of 50lbs consistently.

· Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work 40 hours a week.

· Able to adapt to fast paced industrial environment with a shifting schedule.

· Standard CSA approved Steel toed boots are required, we will provide safety glasses, work gloves, hardhat, and reflective vests.

· WHMIS 2015 certification, first aid training are all assets to this position but not a requirement.

· Forklift Training

Work Schedule:

· Dayshift: Mon-Fri 6 am-2 pm. Hours subject to change

· Afternoon: Mon-Thu 1 pm – 11 pm. Hours subject to change

· Overtime may be required dependant on production requirements

Wages/Benefits:

· Starting wages will be based on level of experience

· Afternoon positions receive a shift premium

· Wages will be evaluated and increased with more training, competency

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
