Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Master Carpenter located in Montreal, QC. The Master Carpenter will be responsible for executing various carpentry tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, and general woodworking. Day-to-day responsibilities include using hand tools and power tools for precise and high-quality construction, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, coordinating with team members to ensure project timelines are met, and adhering to building codes and safety standards. The role involves working on both residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Carpentry, including expertise in both framing and finish carpentry
  • Proficiency with Hand Tools, such as saws, hammers, and chisels
  • Experience and expertise in the use of Power Tools like drills, sanders, and circular saws
  • Understanding of construction safety protocols and the ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications or trade licenses in carpentry are an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • CCQ card holder
