How you'll make an impact

You'll also help to identify and assess potential risks to our Financial Crime Compliance program.

This position is key in collaborating and communicating with other business units, such as Operations, the Customer Service Centre, Credit Risk and Special Credit, to protect FCC from potential regulatory and reputational risk. What you'll do

  • Complete and support customer due diligence activities during onboarding, administrative activities and as part of periodic screening
  • Conduct open‑source searches via CanLII, media, corporate registries, court databases and internal systems and document and report findings
  • Prepare risk-related recommendations to management
  • Support transaction-monitoring activities, including investigating suspicious transactions and analyzing unusual behaviour for potential money laundering, terrorist financing or fraud
  • Contribute to Customer Diligence Centre productivity and service
  • Support Specialists and Senior Specialists in enhanced due diligence (EDD) activities using advanced analytics

What you'll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, commerce, administration or related fields
