Job Description:

As the Hydroclave Operator, you will be responsible for operating the machine we use to process waste safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for performing regular maintenance. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform start up and shut down procedures as required
• Load waste into the machine
• Ensure machine runs under certain parameters
• Unload the machine
• Sort and load waste on to the deck
• Perform periodic spore testing and other testing
• Keep work area clean
• Arrange waste bin for pick up as needed.
• Pay attention to any changes to the conveyor belts, machine parts for any repairs and preventative maintenance and inform management and maintenance team of any required maintenance
• Record data on logbook for yearend audit
• Maintain meticulous records of all equipment repairs and maintenance.

Boiler operation experience and certification is considered an asset but is not a requirement of this position.

This position requires 40 hours of work per week starting at $21 per hour. Hourly wage adjusts with and reflects skill and experience.
