Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and equipment. Training provided but come with an aptitude to learn and create positive patient successes. This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

  • Over seeing a busy prosthetic and orthotic technical team.
  • Shipping/ receiving
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and equipment status.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other staff members.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting and repair.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a technical environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Digital workflow familiarity.
