Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills in maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on customer service. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various tasks in residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Duties

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties.
• Troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Minor plumbing work
• Interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair of equipment.
• Carry out facilities maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
• Execute residential painting projects with attention to detail and quality.
• Supervise and lead small teams on larger projects, ensuring safety and adherence to timelines.
• Furniture assembly
• Drywall repair and some plaster space.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and project updates.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Appliance Installation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, including schematics.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
