The Role Legend is hiring a Head of SEO, to join our leadership team, reporting directly to our Chief Sports Officer. We're looking for someone ready to grow into the undeniable #1 online sports betting resource in North America and globally. This should include moats and initiatives that not only take us to the very top across every region, country, and state that we operate in, but place us in a position where we cannot be moved or replaced by the competition. You and your team should be the absolute best in the game, combining forward-thinking and grand initiatives that can really move the needle with attention to detail and perfect optimization on a page-by-page level in order to excel across the SERPs and grow commercial outcomes. Your ImpactLead and mentor a team of SEOs with a focus on advancing on-page optimization impact.Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the SEO team and projects/initiatives that operate in conjunction with other teams within the groupFuture planning - responsibility for the long-term organic strategy for (initiative planning, resources, timeframes and execution)Team Management - Goals, Growth, Training and Development. Setting the right expectations to not only meet agreed deliverables but smash through them.Culture Shift > SEO First: Turn SEO into a key component of the leadership team, future direction and strategyManaging key tools and expenses associated with SEO and to ensure teams have what they need and can drive forward at pace.Be the unblocker in SEO - consistently working to make sure processes are as smooth as possible, key operations and deadlines are met, helping to filter out the noise so that individuals and teams can stay focused and deliver.Oversee and resolve complex technical SEO challenges for a large-scale, enterprise-level website.Drive link-building initiatives to strengthen domain authority and expand organic visibility. What You'll BringProven experience within a leadership team, working in collaboration with peers, earning trust and respect, and together making decisions that ensure growth & profitability for the businessProven success in developing and implementing SEO strategies with long-term results (ideally for multiple verticals & geographies).Ability to oversee and drive SEO strategy whilst still working at pace and ensuring creative excellence.Proactive awareness and anticipation of the latest industry innovations, tools, digital channels, and the role of SEONatural coach, mentor, and talent magnet, able to motivate and provide direction to the team, setting clear objectives and development plans. It would also be great, but not essential, if you had:Driver (not passive) & International exposure across a big brand/sExperience of driving organic content strategies to support organic growth and expansionProduct Thinker, Scale Thinker, Holistic Brand Thinker (not just base SEO).
