Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and promoting early childhood education. Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
  • Observe and assess children's developmental progress, maintaining detailed records
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom activities
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention
  • Foster social-emotional development through positive guidance and reinforcement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities and classroom management strategies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and resources
  • Incorporate bilingual instruction when applicable, utilizing language skills in English, French, or other languages

Skills

  • Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French or other languages are highly desirable
  • Strong childcare experience with children of various ages, including those with special needs or disabilities
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
  • Ability to operate computers and educational software effectively
  • Classroom management skills with a focus on organization and time management
  • Leadership qualities to guide children's development while fostering independence
  • Writing skills for documentation, reports, and communication with families
  • Organizational skills to manage classroom resources efficiently
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
