Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and staff. Prior experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
  • Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to ensure cleanliness
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
  • Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
  • Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned by management to support overall property operations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, industrial cleaning, or custodial work is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service
