Job Title: KBE Engineer - BIW
Location: Windsor, ON - Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months contract
Responsibilities include:
- Creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for BIW upperbody components/subassemblies using
- Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques.
- Position requires extensive knowledge of Teamcenter and NX modeling and an extensive background developing, packaging, and releasing BIW components and subassemblies.
- Additional responsibilities managing internal and external suppliers, supporting pre-production and launch activities at vehicle assembly plants (US, Mexico, CA), creating and maintaining CBOM and quadris, benchmarking, and other responsibilities as required for the role/program.
Requirements
:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent bachelor's degree with experience.
- 2+ Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX
- 2+ Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX
- 2+ Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX
- 2+ Years of Body in White (Automotive) Engineering Experience
- Strong English Speaking skills, including technical language
- Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required
- Remote Work with ability to travel to supplier/Stellantis sites as required
- Proof of Covid Vaccination will be required
Preferred Requirements
:
- 5+ Years of Body in White and/or Closures CAD Engineering experience.
- 5+ years of body experience
- 5+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Seimens NX
Additional Information / Must have's:
- In-plant body shop experience
- Vehicle launch experience
- Sheet metal (BIW upperbody/underbody or closures) design and release experience (KBE trained)
Note: Onsite/ Remote Hybrid - Mainly remote; would need to come to CTC (Auburn Hills, MI) for only when in-person attendance is required for training. 20%, but it would be less if they live in CAN and support vehicles at one of our CAN plants.
