Summary

The Master Data Specialist reports to the Senior Director, Data Governance team which is part of the Business Transformation team.  The Master Data Specialist manages the setup and maintenance of all Master Data in SAP to support all business processes. It is a centralized function responsible for the accuracy of data assets. As a Master Data Specialist, you will be providing prompt data management support to various areas of the business.  Relevant systems and processes include but are not limited to the SAP system.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with several departments across Wonderbrands to execute data creation and maintenance processes to meet the expected service and quality levels.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to ensure submitted requests are clear and accurate
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of master data across various internal systems, including customer, vendor, pricing (including vendor and customer), material (including bill of materials) data.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of master data records
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of material master data across various customer portals and GS1
  • Perform regular data analysis and quality audits to ensure consistency and integrity of master data
  • Work with cross functional teams to identify and resolve master data issues
  • Train end-users on master data processes
  • All other duties as required.

Required Experience

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a Business, Supply Chain, Data Management or related fields
  • Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, and SharePoint Skills
  • Experience/knowledge with SAP is an asset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented, ability to maintain accuracy while handling large volumes of data
