Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RECE to join our team at Graydon Hall Child Care Services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the ability to create a nurturing and educational environment. This role involves caring for children, supporting their development, and ensuring their safety while fostering a positive atmosphere for learning and growth.
Duties
- Provide attentive and responsive care to children in a safe environment.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood education and development.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best possible care for all children.
- Utilize strong time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Document children's progress through writing skills while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Background in special education or working with people with disabilities is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills to guide children in group settings.
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Organizational skills to manage classroom materials and activities efficiently.
