Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working Restoration Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in water, fire, and mold restoration. We highly value previous experience with truck-mounted carpet cleaning systems and Sani-Tech operations, as these skills directly support the cleaning, sanitation, and extraction processes central to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform water damage mitigation, including water extraction using truck-mounted and portable systems, drying, and dehumidification.
- Conduct fire and smoke damage restoration, including cleaning, deodorization, and materials removal.
- Assist in mold remediation in accordance with industry standards and company protocols.
- Utilize truck-mounted carpet cleaning systems and Sani-Tech or similar sanitation equipment for deep cleaning, disinfection, and moisture control.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to assess damage and carry out restoration plans.
- Maintain accurate job records, including moisture logs, equipment tracking, and progress updates.
- Keep job sites clean, safe, and in compliance with company and WorkSafeBC safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, janitorial sanitation, or similar fields.
- Familiarity with truck-mounted systems and/or experience operating Sani-Tech or related sanitation equipment is a strong asset.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures.
- Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.
- Must complete and submit a timecard daily.
Previous emergency restoration experience is an asset but not required—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training
