Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Security Guard position located in Timmins, ON. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of people, property, and assets at assigned locations. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring premises, conducting routine security checks, managing access control, handling emergency situations, and providing a professional presence in support of clients' safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills to communicate effectively, maintain professionalism, and provide excellent service
- Knowledge and expertise in Physical Security and the ability to implement effective security operations
- Understanding of Personnel Security procedures and protocols, with the ability to manage access and ensure compliance
- Experience in Private Security, handling situations discreetly and effectively
- Exceptional Customer Service skills to assist clients, staff, and visitors professionally and courteously
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency or high-pressure situations
- Possession of a valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certification
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in a security-related role is an asset
