Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services while also promoting retail products to enhance the overall client experience.

Duties

  • Provide high-quality haircuts, shaves, and styling services to clients based on their preferences and trends.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on styles and products.
  • Upsell retail products that complement the services provided, enhancing client satisfaction and salon revenue.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and managing transactions.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist with a valid cosmetology or barber license.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and recommendations.
  • Experience in upselling products and services is preferred.
  • Knowledge of retail sales practices related to beauty products is a plus.
  • Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards in accordance with industry regulations.
  • 3 years experience
