Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of schematics, blueprint reading, and construction safety standards. Candidates with supervisory experience and proficiency in construction management software are highly preferred. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to budgetary constraints while maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with blueprints and schematics
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems
  • Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project completion
  • Supervise junior electricians or apprentices, providing guidance on safety procedures and technical tasks
  • Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6 for project documentation and planning
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed
  • Assist in quality control processes to meet project specifications and standards
  • Support budgeting efforts by providing accurate estimates for electrical work

Experience

  • Proven experience as an electrician within the construction industry, with a strong background in commercial or industrial projects
  • Supervisory experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities on job sites
  • Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety standards in construction environments
  • Ability to perform basic construction management tasks such as budgeting and scheduling
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical documents accurately
  • Relevant licensing or certification as an electrician is required or highly preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $41.00-$46.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
