Bookkeeper / Accounting Technician

Location: Southern Alberta

Company: Locally Owned Family Waste Disposal Business

We're a proud, family-owned waste disposal company serving Southern Alberta, and we're looking for a Bookkeeper / Accounting Technician to help us grow into the next decade

Our office is full of energy and laughter — we work hard but love what we do. If you take pride in your work, have great attention to detail, and enjoy keeping things organized, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and intercompany accounting
  • Process payroll, manage liabilities, and file GST
  • Keep accounts organized and ensure bills are paid on time
  • Follow up on overdue and late accounts with professionalism
  • Help us improve efficiency and organization within our books

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Bookkeeping certification (new or experienced welcome)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A dependable, flexible team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
  • Must provide a clean criminal record check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
