We are currently seeking a skilled Realty Officer to join our Realty and Capital Asset Planning team. This position plays a key role in managing the Yukon Government's leasing portfolio, supporting space planning, resolving lease‑related issues, and ensuring effective, compliant use of government‑leased space.

Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.
- Experience negotiating, drafting, reviewing, or administering lease agreements.
- Experience managing or maintaining property, leasing, or space‑use records and associated financial transactions.
- Experience liaising with landlords, tenants, client departments, or external stakeholders to resolve space‑ or lease‑related issues.
- Experience preparing reports, analyzing space or cost data, or supporting planning and decision‑making.
- Experience coordinating office moves, tenant improvements, procurement processes, or comparable logistical activities.
- Experience in financial management, including analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

The ideal candidate will possess these qualifications, skills and knowledge, but also demonstrate suitability for the role and organizational culture. Key competencies for success in this role include:
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for working with landlords, clients, and internal partners.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail in financial transactions, records management, and data accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve issues collaboratively and professionally.
- Sound judgment when interpreting lease agreements and addressing compliance matters.
- Experience using a range of software, database, and collaboration tools, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, SharePoint, and financial database systems.
Conditions of Employment
This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
