Job Description
  • Designs a creative and exciting activities program to meet the individual needs and interests of Residents including the development of a monthly activities calendar
  • Assists with department goals as well as communicates the programs and processes required to achieve them
  • Supervise and retain volunteers 
  • Identifies and develops opportunities to create relationships with other professionals, community partners and/or organizations
  • Coordinates the transportation of Resident to and from events outside of the Residence
  • Oversee seasonal celebrations
  • Actively supports in-service participation, meetings and committees
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Implements programmed activities 
  • Monitors resident participation rate and encourage attendance

Qualifications
  • Education and/or experience in Recreation/Activation or related field
  • Good working knowledge of recreational programming and techniques
  • Experience in working in hospitality and event planning
  • Strong customer service skills and experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Extremely enthusiastic and creative
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook required
