Floral Designer

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral artistry, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of bohemian (boho) florals, dry flower and artificial. This role involves designing beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions while providing exceptional service to our customers. The Floral Designer will play a key role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of events and customer satisfaction through innovative floral creations.

Duties

• Create custom floral arrangements for events, holidays, and everyday occasions, ensuring designs meet client specifications and aesthetic standards
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, offering expert advice on floral care and design options
• Maintain the floral display area, ensuring it is organized, clean, and visually appealing at all times
• Manage inventory levels of flowers, foliage, containers, and other supplies through merchandising and stock replenishment
• Handle POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and sales processing
• Support landscape maintenance tasks as needed to keep outdoor displays attractive and healthy
• Utilize merchandising skills to promote seasonal products and special arrangements both in-store and online (e-commerce) platforms
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and building lasting client relationships
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold store standards

Experience

• Prior experience in floral design or related fields such as wedding planning, freelance floral designer etc.
• Punctual and drive own vehicle to arrive onsite to event location, ready and energetic
• Fluent in English a must
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with colour wheel and pallets
• Experience in sales or retail environments enhances the ability to promote products effectively
