Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Clerk with strong interpersonal skills to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing customer orders, maintaining database records, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, experience with office software, and the ability to handle data entry tasks efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Accurately input customer orders into company databases
  • Manage and update order records ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel
  • Perform data entry maintain organized records of orders and related documentation
  • Liaison with customers, manufacturers and sales representatives to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Demonstrate excellent phone/communication skills
  • Use advanced math skills for order verification and calculations

Experience

  • Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred, especially in office environments
  • Familiarity with databases and ERP systems is highly desirable and/or demonstrated ability to learn new systems
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Experience with data entry
  • Knowledge of office procedures such as filing and data collection beneficial
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail necessary for accurate order processing
  • Advanced math skills to verify quantities and totals accurately
